ACCURATE MUSIC OWNERSHIP IDENTIFICATIONHIMETA develops innovative solutions guaranteeing correct ownership data on any sound recording, by using the only stable asset as a unique identifier: the music itself.
LABELS , PUBLISHERS, ARTISTS AND MANAGERS
Rights holders are not getting paid unless their work or recording is being identified and if they’re credited correctly. HIMETA Technologies allows rights holders to exchange data with any partner using the sound recording itself as a unique identifier. Resulting in 100% correct rights redistribution.
Exchanging audio files and the corresponding data efficiently with partners can be challenging. Especially considering the volatility of data and identifiers. HIMETA Technologies facilitates the exchange of metadata by using the music itself as a unique identifier. Automated updates, accurate matching, less manual work.
DIGITAL SERVICE PROVIDERS
Tens of thousands of new tracks and their corresponding data are uploaded every day on DSP’s. Catalogues change owners regularly. Keeping pace of all the data updates can be challenging and requires an important amount of time and resources. HIMETA Technologies guarantees accuracy and efficiency through the use of the sound recording as unique identifier.
Collecting societies have the most important and challenging role in the music industry. They occupy a central position when it comes to rights collection and redistribution. Their reputation relies heavily on their matching processes. HIMETA Technologies helps them overcome this challenge in the digital era by adding efficiency and accuracy to their current processes.
Video Game PRODUCERS
Gamers’ videos are blocked on UGC platforms because of a supposed invalid music license. HIMETA’s technology allows those videos to be uploaded on major UGC platforms.
HIMETA Technologies makes it easier for broadcasters to generate playlists. It provides accurate data provided directly by rights holders, based on accurate 24/7 airplay monitoring.
ABOUT HIMETA TECHNOLOGIES
HIMETA Technologies was founded in 2016 by Youri Balcers, mastering engineer. Based on Youri’s prototype, Nicola Barbiero and his team developed the backbone of HIMETA’s proprietary technology and helped industrialize it to achieve today’s results.
In 2018, the technology was almost ready to go to market. This is when Nicolas Roebben and Thomas Philips, both experienced in Music Technology, joined the team and its CFO Thibaut Martens.
HIMETA‘s ambition is to guarantee that rights holders behind any sound recording are identified accurately at any point in the value chain.
